Endy Rivas, a.k.a. Storm Raider

Endy Rivas, a.k.a. Storm Raider, is among a number of Oakland Raiders super fans who add excitement and delight to attending Raiders games.

I moved to the Los Angeles area when I was about 5 years old, with my mother and my older brother. I wasn't introduced to football until I was around 10 years old, when my step father took us to watch games from time to time. I want to say I was hooked from the start but being a child, I was mostly interested in playing outside with my friends. I didn't go to many games but the ones I did go, to left an impact. I didn't know names but I remembered numbers: 34, 75, 76, 32, and 81.

"Storm Raider" made his debut at an event hosted by the Knights of the Shield in Fresno a few years back. The idea of Storm Raider was mainly to make the game day experience for everyone more enjoyable. I remember how much I enjoyed game days with the super fans. I've had the pleasure of meeting Violator, Gorilla Rilla, Senor Raider, Pin Head, and the list goes on and on. All that changed when I met a good friend known to most as Oaktown Pirate. I will forever cherish his words and his guidance. Miss you brother, R. I. P.

Storm Raider has given me the opportunity to get involved in various charities as well as the ones I am asked to assist with. I've had the honor to meet some absolutely awesome people I've grown to call family. (You know who you are.) I absolutely enjoy the game day experience. The love I get from the RAIDER NATION still leaves me speechless. What I enjoy most, above all, are the smiles on all the children's faces asking to take a picture with me. I guess it takes me back to the days when I was that little kid asking for a picture.

Today am pleased to say I am the president of the Knights of the Shield, Chapter 209, and keeping with tradition, we help our community whichever way possible. From blood drives, Christmas drives, Thanksgiving feasts, monthly feedings for the less fortunate, and so on. We are a family-based organization which shares the same passion.

I am absolutely humbled to be considered a super fan and am completely overwhelmed with the amount of love I've received from the entire Raider Nation! If you see me stomping around, please say hello. See you at the muthaland...RRRAAAIIIIDDEERRRSSSS.
